The hotel was one of the most expensive we have paid while touring Portugal but is in dire need of refurbishment. The rooms are correctly climatized. On the positive side, the room was large, comfortable, and clean with a balcony overlooking a vineyard.

The service was lovely and very welcoming, but there was an incident where a staff member started screaming, blaming us for leaving the windows open.

The hotel is ideal for those traveling with a dog and for sightseeing in the area, but you need your own transport as the location is on a hot granite block.
